How far in advance can I order my flowers?

Flowers are seasonal, so due to fluctuating pricing and availability, you have the option to order flowers directly off of the site up to 6 months before the delivery date. If you’d like to order flowers for an event that’s further into the future, that’s great too! Send us an email or give us a call with what you’re looking for, and we will get back to with our availability and price quote ASAP!

What delivery days are available?

We ship our flowers on MondaysTuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to make sure that they arrive at your door as fresh as possible for delivery on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. If you’ve got a weekend event, we recommend ordering your flowers to be delivered on Wednesday or Thursday – that will give them the perfect amount of time to hydrate and begin opening so that by the time the weekend rolls around they are looking their best!

What do I do with the flowers once I receive them?

Your flowers will arrive in a floral box, wrapped up in a protective paper or plastic sleeve. Once you open the box: ● First unwrap the flowers and give them some room to breathe. They’ve just made a long trip so don’t worry if they look like they’re a little dehydrated or sleepy- just think of how you would feel after getting off an international flight! ● Have a bucket or vase with a few inches of water ready, and remove any foliage on the stems that might fall below the water line. ● The next step is to cut the stems with floral shears or a sharp knife about 1 inch from the bottoms. It’s always best to cut them at an angle, so that the flowers have even more space to drink from- water is their best friend!  ● Then, simply place them in the water, and keep them indoors in a cool, dry place away from any heaters, air conditioning drafts, or direct sunlight and you’re ready to go! We recommend allowing the flowers to hydrate for at least 4-6 hours before starting to work with them, but the more time the better- typically our customers have their flowers arrive a few days prior to their event in order to give them the opportunity to hydrate and start to open so they can look perfect for showtime!

How will my flowers be delivered?

All of our flowers are shipped FedEx priority overnight, straight from our partners all over the world. That means they’ll arrive at your door, freshly cut, and ready for you to work your magic! Deliveries should arrive on the scheduled delivery date before 10:30 am. All deliveries are marked as “signature required” so please make sure that someone will be available to accept the delivery. If there is no one to accept the delivery please contact us and leave a note in an area where the shipper will notice. The note should state  that you have waived the signature requirement and will accept the delivery without a signature.

Before you buy

Before you press the CHECK-OUT button, take a look at your calendar about when to get your flowers delivered. Let’s give you an example: Maria’s wedding is on Saturday, April 14. She’s looking to order her flowers about 6 weeks before her event to ensure the freshest and most seasonal blooms at the most reasonable prices. She’s going to order her flowers to be delivered on Thursday so that any tighter blooms will have the opportunity to open fully before her event. We don’t recommend getting flowers delivered on Saturdays, as any delay will may cause the flowers to be stranded overnight and there are no deliveries on Sunday. Also, if you’re arranging flowers for an event, keep in mind that some flowers require a little time to open up. If your event in on Saturday, having the flowers delivered on Wednesday or Thursday so that there is a little time for them to bloom. Before you check-out as well, we recommend ordering about 10% over what you expect you will need in order to account for any loss of product in the days between your event.

Flowers are a product of Mother Nature, and therefore their appearance may differ slightly from the images on PetalDriven.com. In order to qualify for our guarantee please ensure that your flowers are immediately hydrated upon receipt. PetalDriven.com is not responsible for mishandling of the flowers by the customer. Therefore, PetalDriven.com is not responsible any damage that appears after the customer has received and hydrated their flowers.

Claims

Satisfaction is guaranteed. We require digital images to be included with any claims, to be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.

Cancellations
